To say that 2020 was a rough year is a massive understatement!  It looks like challenges imposed due to COVID-19 will continue well into 2021.  All this on top of the normal pressures of caring for the vulnerable in long term care settings.  It is no wonder so many are experiencing burnout and compassion fatigue, as well as grief. 

Join us to gain insight into identifying these issues and coping in a healthy way. Understand the challenges of caring for yourself while caring for others. Learn to recognize when you need care, why you need care and ways to obtain and maintain the care you need to be balanced, healthy and productive professionally AND personally.

SPEAKER

Amy Bliss RN, C-Al, brings a wealth of life, and nursing experience to her presentations.  She loves to share her extensive experience in long term care to support staff and residents enhancing the quality of care for our beloved seniors.  She is certified in Gerontology, Health and Wellness, and has multiple teaching certifications as well as extensive experience as Director of Nursing in a variety of care settings.  She currently works as a Nurse Consultant with Consulting Resources, assisting communities with all aspects of staff training and compliance for survey readiness.
