Join us for this one-hour session as we define advocacy and engagement as part of the nursing practice and identify key components. We will also discuss the challenges and barriers associated with advocacy and review principles, strategies, barriers and more!

SPEAKER

Margaret C. Holm, JD, RN has been a nurse consultant for the Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission since 2012. Margaret received her BA in Psychology in 1977 from California State University, Northridge, and in 1982, received her Juris Doctor from Seattle University (formerly University of Puget Sound). Margaret has a decorated career as both an attorney and nurse consultant and has taught for many years and for many organizations.
