Webinar: Managing a Toxic Manager: Turning Bad Bosses Into Successful Supervisors | AL & SNF

Thursday, March 4, 2021

COURSE OVERVIEW

People do not quit jobs, they quit bosses. A Gallup study revealed that one in two people had left a job to get away from their manager to improve their overall life at some point in their career. Other studies have found that people would stay at jobs with lower salaries if that meant working for a great boss. Long term care organizations may be losing excellent employees not because of the work, but because of the management.  Toxic supervisors lead to higher turnover, which increases expenses by constantly having to retrain new people.  Abrasive bosses cause a decrease in morale, which reduces productivity.  Residents and family members will feel the effects of a toxic workplace based on the actions of an abrasive manager.

Join us for this information-packed session focusing on what you could do to keep the best people by properly handling unpleasant managers.  Practical easy-to-implement tools are presented to create exceptional relationships between managers and employees. A chair has four legs, but if one leg is malfunctional, the entire structure falls down. EVERY manager must be fully functional and by implementing the strategies presented in this session, the most toxic can become the most triumphant.  PLEASE NOTE:  This session is not just for handling managers that have reached the point of full-blown toxicity
