COURSE OVERVIEW
This webinar is a step-by-step guide to a fire and life safety inspection and all the documentation that is required. By the end of the presentation, you will have a guide to show you how to best organize your documents, what is required for each system, and what policies are needed. We will also cover what is looked for during the walking tour, how fire extinguishers need to be mounted, what doors needs to close and latch, and how dirty a sprinkler head can be. Everything from kitchens to lighting - guidance will be given to help you get the correct documentation to show if there is an issue with a system that was corrected. You’ll learn how the state inspections interact and are different from local inspections, including local fire departments and building officials. The construction review process and how the State Fire Marshal is involved will also be covered.
